The “Natural Forms” exhibition features the work of four international artists. The artists participating in the July residency at Terra Vivente Art Studio are: Margaret Craig, a sculptor and printmaker from Texas, USA, who presents a project using recycled plastic bottles and transforming them into delicate organic forms; Ingrid Tremblay, a French-Canadian from Montreal, who works with natural forms, sculpted locally found tuff, and made plaster molds of local plant life; Crystal Davis, a poet from Tasmania, Australia, who brought her vintage typewriter with her to write on leaves and other natural material, and also made videos of her investigations during the residency; Rachael Bower, an artist from Texas, USA, inspired by the plant and animal life present in Guardia, worked with drawing and painting on paper.

For twenty-five years Flatbed has been fortunate to have the assistance of many creative individuals to help in our publication of etchings, lithographs, relief prints, screen prints and monotypes, with artists from all over the world. It is a pleasure to show selected works by these individuals, many of whom now live far from Austin.
