The Oak Cliff Cultural Center is proud to present “Essential Elements,” a collection of figurative and abstract works created by 7 artists currently residing in Texas: curator and artist, J. Salvador Lopez (San Antonio/Dallas), Margaret Craig (San Antonio), Christopher J. Hernandez (San Antonio), Dan Maldonado (San Antonio), Brian Johnson (Austin), Victoria West (Dallas), and Juan J. Hernandez (Dallas). The exhibit examines the relationship between the innocence of physical appearance, spiritual ambiguity and the intersection of these human attributes with technology.
“Essential Elements” is now open to the public. An artists’ reception will be held on March 14, from 7pm-9pm. Exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
